Is Dustless Tile Removal Really Possible or is it Just a Gimmick?

The traditional tile removal method is messier and more time consuming contrary to the common belief. If you are obsessed with keeping your home sparkling clean at all times, this might not be an ideal option for you. Removing the floor tiles in such a manner leaves behind a lot of dust and debris, posing a potential threat to your health and contaminating the air inside your house.

On the other hand, dust-free tile removal is a clean and cost-effective method which doesn’t cause you any hassle. With the help of high-powered vacuum systems and advanced machinery, it is possible to produce a dust free environment on the work sites. All the tiles and the glue is removed without any dust leaving a smooth and clean surface underneath. However, some of the jobs are not entirely dust-free, for example, completely stripping a bathroom.

How Does the Dust-Free Tile Removal Process Works?

Before – The area is prepared and any doors or entrances are sealed off to stop any fine dust from spreading to any part of your house.

During – Very large industrial vacuums are used to extract the dust during the tile removal process.

After – Concrete grinding leaves the floor in a perfectly smooth and clean condition for flawless new flooring. You will only see a smooth and even floor after the process is completed with no worrying about cleaning the house.

Special Equipment Required

Not all the vacuums are designed to handle the thinset and concrete dust. If someone claims that their ordinary vacuums can do so, they are surely wasting your time. There are special high-end vacuums which are designed to remove concrete dust. Such systems are great for dust elimination as they capture the dust particles at the source in each and every step of the process. They leave an even and smooth surface for the next type of flooring giving it a flawless finishing.

While the dust is collected during the tile removal process, the glue which remains is removed through the concrete grinders and the powerful vacuums. Not even a single particle of dust is left to flow throughout your home. All the dust is collected in large bags which are then taken away by the waste removal trucks.

Myths about Dust Free Tile Removal

The dust control systems are still relatively new in the floor removal industry so many people consider them to be a waste of time. This is because either they don’t have ample knowledge about them or have none at all. Customers are told that their house is going to be a huge mess but they don’t have a choice. False! They now actually do have a choice as they plan to remove tiles from their floor.

This particular method is nothing but a groundbreaking new system to keep your home spotless during a renovation. Keeping the house clean during the entire process is a blessing, especially when the clients are receiving an excellent service and a perfectly even surface for the new flooring.
